1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Latent Ape LLC ("we," "us," "our") handles information in connection with fuckedhuman.com (the "Site"). The Site has no user accounts and is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.

2. Information we collect

• Server and log data. Like most websites, our infrastructure provider automatically processes technical data such as IP address, user agent, referring page, and timestamps for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand aggregate site traffic. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to distinguish visitors and may process your IP address, approximate location, and device information on our behalf. You can learn how Google uses this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Tip submissions (if you use the tip feature). We store the content you submit in our private database, email a copy to the owner, and keep a hashed (non-reversible) form of your IP address used only for spam and rate-limiting. Tips are never published automatically and the stored copy is not public. We ask you not to include personal or confidential information in tips (see Terms, Section 9).
• Dead pool votes (if offered). We record a vote and a hashed IP for rate-limiting only. We do not build a profile of you.

We do not knowingly collect names, emails, or payment information from visitors, because the Site has no sign-up, login, comments, or purchases.

3. Cookies and tracking

The Site sets no advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies (for example, _ga) used solely to measure aggregate traffic, as described in Section 2. Blocking these cookies does not affect your use of the Site.

4. How we use information

To operate, secure, and maintain the Site; to prevent abuse, spam, and automated attacks; to produce aggregate analytics; to handle correction/takedown and legal requests; and to review tips we receive. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Service providers

We rely on third parties to run the Site, and they process limited data on our behalf, including: Cloudflare (hosting, edge network, storage), OpenRouter and OpenAI (automated content generation and embeddings), our search/news data providers (e.g., Brave, GDELT), and our email provider (e.g., Resend or Mailgun) for owner notifications and tip delivery. Each has its own privacy practices.

6. Legal disclosures

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Latent Ape LLC or others.

7. Data retention

We retain log and analytics data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or aggregate it. Tip submissions are stored in our private database and emailed to the owner; both copies are retained at the owner's discretion and can be deleted on request. Published Site content is retained indefinitely unless removed under our correction/takedown process.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect the Site. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of certain processing:

• California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell or "share" (as defined) personal information. You may make requests as described below.
• EEA/UK (GDPR): Where applicable, our lawful bases are legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site) and, where relevant, consent. You may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any right, contact privacy@latentape.com. Because we collect so little and hold no accounts, we may be unable to associate requests with a specific person; we will act on what we can reasonably identify.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Its content is satirical and intended for a general adult audience.

11. International users

The Site is operated from the United States and processed on globally distributed infrastructure. By using the Site, you understand your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date.
