Silicon Valley erases its own pandemic hiring boom, calls it efficiency
The Information sector in San Francisco and the northern valley has shed 28,914 jobs since 2022, a 22% drop to a seven-year low. The industry that promised to automate everyone else's job apparently started with a pilot program on its own.
