Nokia exits China after 40 years, takes 7,200 jobs with it
The Finnish giant is shuttering nearly every mainland site by late 2026, ending a four-decade run. Huawei and ZTE own the 5G contracts now, and Nokia apparently decided that fighting for table scraps wasn't worth keeping the lights on.
