Mercor fires 50 people, calls it a typo
A two-sentence email ended at least 50 jobs, but the CEO insists 'layoff' is the wrong word for a profitable company sitting on $1B in cash. Math says 8%, Mercor says less than 5%, and the careers page says come on in, there's room.
